Background:

Honda Finance Europe provides Wholesale stocking finance to both car and bike networks in the UK.  The Wholesale Department consists of 7 employees and is split between admin and risk.  The dept is responsible for the support, financial analysis and management of wholesale risk.

 

Role:

Working as part of a team of three, the administrator’s role is the first point of contact to the Honda dealer network for both cars and bikes and dealing with all asset related issues.  The main focus will be on the wholesale stocking system

 

Main Responsibilities:

  • To be the main point of contact for the dealer network with regard to any Dealer funding system queries, and to take responsibility for the resolution of each query or refer to seniors
  • To perform routine daily Experian checks on vehicles, ensuring the dealer funding activity is protected, and to assist other finance companies in obtaining routine information from HFE
  • To carry out daily tasks, such as producing reports for management, processing stock audits and letters to dealers
  • To process any used car or bike invoices or payments received from dealers each day, ensuring limits are not exceed and correct valuations are obtained
  • To support the other members of the Administration team
  • To protect the interests of the business by minimising risk, ensuring system controls are followed, identifying and resolving any issues relating to the Profinance where possible, and advising line management.

 

Qualifications, skills and experience required:

  • High level of credibility to communicate with Dealers, sales, administration etc.
  • Accurate and timely with good eye for detail
  • Good team player
  • Excel, Word and a knowledge of Access would be an advantage.
  • Good understanding of the banking process.
