Role:
Honda Motor Europe is offering an undergraduate the opportunity to join the newly created Digital and Data Division as part of the Connectivity Solutions team for a 12-month placement starting in July 2027. The Division has been established to accelerate Honda Europe’s adoption of AI, strengthen the data foundations of the company and unlock new value from data for customers and the business.
The Connectivity Solutions team plays a key role in this ambition. Data generated by Honda products, including cars, motorcycles and power products such as lawnmowers, creates new possibilities to improve customer experiences, support business decision-making and develop new services. The team is also supporting the development and European readiness of Honda’s next-generation connectivity solution, GC5.0, planned to launch in March 2028.
The undergraduate will contribute across this wider agenda, working with teams across Honda Europe and supporting practical delivery. Key activities will include helping to prepare for GC5.0 through cross-functional coordination and solution testing; supporting data value-realisation projects with other divisions; monitoring competitor, technology and market developments; and reporting on the performance of current connectivity solutions, including customer activations, subscriptions and wider engagement. As part of the preparation for GC5.0, testing will need to be done on new vehicles far in advance of their launch. The role provides broad exposure to connected products, data-led innovation and the delivery of Honda’s digital future.
