At Honda we embrace inclusion in our various policies, so whilst our contracts state that the hours are as required to fulfil the role with a minimum of 35 hours per week, we offer flexibility for when you work. The regular office hours are 08:00 – 16:00 Monday to Thursday with a half hour lunch break & 08:00 – 13:00 on a Friday. However, we offer flexibility of when you work with our daily flex-time start of between 07:00 and 11:00 providing that there is no business requirement.
Whilst there is no contractual right to work from home, the flexibility we offer is that you can request to work from home for a maximum of 50% of the working days in any one month, again providing there is no business requirement to attend the office.

Whilst this is an office-based role, there may also be the opportunity to visit our dealer network, the European branch offices, the Honda Logistics Centres, and our Pan European suppliers.
Main Responsibilities:
Publications
- Supporting the timely delivery of publications across the UK and Europe, both in printed and digital formats.
- Supporting the completion of quality evaluations of owner’s manuals and other documents to ensure suitability for publishing.
- Project activity support within the department to ensure smooth implementation of new initiatives/systems.
- Ensuring that your activities follow the standard operating procedures and identifying and implementing areas for process improvement on a daily basis.
- Data analysis, report preparation and presentation at all levels within the business.
- Regular communication with our global offices and our compounds/warehouses across Europe.
- General administrative duties, such as email administration, raising purchase orders and tracking deliveries.
Retail Environment
- Supporting the management of the Motorcycle Brand Review programme ensuring compliancy with Honda Design guidelines
- Project administration and liaising with Pan-European branches on a regular basis
- Ongoing management of visual assets by promoting activities and Honda products
- Identifying relevant stakeholders in other Divisions to plan ad hoc-activities and ensuring timely project delivery
Qualifications, skills and experience:
Required
- Must be an undergraduate looking for a placement as part of their studies.
- Proficient in MS Office packages to include PowerPoint and Excel
- Capable of balancing tasks to achieve set deadlines
- Proactive approach to motivate yourself to deliver ideas and improvements that make a difference to Honda.
- Great communicator with the ability to build relationships at all levels
- Good business judgement and an eye for detail
- Willing to work within a team and collaborate on projects
- Inclusive and appreciative of cultural and product differences
Desirable
- Good Data Analysis skills
- Experience in a customer focused role
- Ability and willingness to travel in UK & Europe as required
- A second language, in particular European or Japanese
