Role:

  • The role reports to the Reporting Accountant Manager and assists the European Financial Reporting team.
  • Focuses on supporting the accounts payable function to ensure smooth operation and timely resolution of any queries
  • Also focusing on financial accounting & reporting activities to ensure accuracy of data posted and reported. Meeting month end deadlines and following correct controls.

 

Main Responsibilities:

Management Reporting:

  • <span style="font-family:"Arial",sans-serif">Assist with the preparation of the monthly reporting packs, and other financial reports.
  • <span style="font-family:"Arial",sans-serif">Assist with the review and resolution of Balance Sheet accounts reconciling items.
  • <span style="font-family:"Arial",sans-serif">Maintaining good communication with the Shared Service Centre to resolve any issues.

Statutory & Compliance Reporting:

  • <span style="font-family:"Arial",sans-serif">Assist with the preparation of external reporting (e.g. Office of National Statistics).
  • <span style="font-family:"Arial",sans-serif">Assist the Consolidation Reporting Team with data analysis.

<span style="font-family:"Arial",sans-serif">Accounts Payable:

  • <span style="font-family:"Arial",sans-serif">Daily support of Accounts Payable – Resolution of queries, policy compliance, emergency payments and supporting wider business.
  • <span style="font-family:"Arial",sans-serif">Weekly banking – Preparation of cheques postings and banking.

  • <span style="font-family:"Arial",sans-serif">Undergraduate
  • <span style="font-family:"Arial",sans-serif">Highly motivated, with an enquiring mind and passion for excellence
  • <span style="font-family:"Arial",sans-serif">Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
  • <span style="font-family:"Arial",sans-serif">Excellent Excel skills
  • <span style="font-family:"Arial",sans-serif">Analytically minded
  • <span style="font-family:"Arial",sans-serif">Critical thinking skills
  • <span style="font-family:"Arial",sans-serif">Results focused
  • <span style="font-family:"Arial",sans-serif">Organisational skills
