Role:

 

Managing a team of two you will be responsible for the quarterly and mid term direction of National Tactical Marketing campaigns for Cars, Motorcycles and Power Products.

 

Through in depth understanding of market trends and consumer motivation, you will deliver incremental sales volume, counter budget risk and manage stock exposure whilst maintaining and/or increasing gross profit margins.

This role will involve both long term planning and reactive problem solving, so the candidate must be flexible and able to manage expectations.

 

Main Accountabilities:

 

  • Develop the team to manage their relationships with key stakeholders within the business.  These range from ISD, off shore developers, HME-Business Administration, Inter-departmental management and our franchise partners.
  • Confidently work with the pan-brand Communications Managers to both brief and ensure a comprehensive understanding of campaigns and any countermeasures.
  • Work closely with the Car, Motorcycle and Power Products Business Planning teams to understand the flow of products into the UK and our respective sales channels
  • Develop the existing plans for effectively retailing all products, with timely, cost effective enhancements to consumer offers.
  • React quickly to changing business requirements by modelling campaign modifications with an appreciation of the cost and the impact on sales expected.
  • Work closely with Honda Finance Europe to develop and implement finance offers.  Analyse other manufacturers offerings to ensure competitiveness within the market place.
  • Confidently negotiate campaign launch with key high level stakeholders. 
  • Manage the £60m+ Pan Brand to deliver campaigns.  Working closely with HME-BA to ensure effective spend of allocated budget and be accountable for effective use of the funds available.
  • Plan the effective use of the Power Products and Motorcycles tactical budget to deliver seasonal campaign offers that are implemented in conjunction with the standard campaign offerings
  • Work closely with the Brand Marketing Communications managers and external agencies to confidently brief all offers ahead of deadlines
  • Constant measurement of Campaign Progress, with analytical feedback to each business area on the success of each campaign
  • Bi-annually chair a working group of 6 dealer groups to strategically position Honda within the market place.
  • Effectively run out models and plan successful launch strategies for new models

  • Proven record of negotiating with our dealer partners
