Role:

The role is responsible for the quarterly and mid term direction of National Tactical Marketing campaigns for Motorcycles and Power Products.

Through in depth understanding of market trends and consumer motivation, you will deliver incremental sales volume, counter budget risk and manage stock exposure whilst maintaining and/or increasing gross profit margins.

This role will involve both long term planning and reactive problem solving, so the candidate must be flexible and able to manage multiple priorities.

Main Accountabilities:

  • Work closely with the Motorcycle and Power Products business planning teams to understand the flow of products into the UK and identify where tactical initiatives may be required to meet volume and/or profit expectations.
  • Take ownership of the multi-million pound tactical marketing budget for Motorcycles and Power Products and confidently present budget forecasts and actuals to stakeholders.
  • Develop plans for effectively retailing all products with timely, cost effective consumer offers.
  • React quickly to changing business situations by modelling campaign modifications where necessary accompanied by a cost and sales forecast.
  • Work closely with HFE to develop and implement Motorcycle finance offers and influence the positioning of RV’s.
  • Confidently sell in campaign proposals to key high level stakeholders including SMG and sales teams, the national dealer council and dealer working group members.
  • Work closely with the Marketing Communications team and external agencies to confidently brief all offers for advertising.
  • Constant measurement of campaign progress, with analytical feedback to each business area on the success of each campaign.

  • Graduate or Equivalent Level
