This Sales and Analysis role is pivotal in developing initiatives to protect and grow the business volume and profit within the Parts and Accessories department. This will be achieved by responding to market trends and challenging existing business practices but most importantly by ensuring the department responds to our customer needs whilst preserving dealer profitability. With a strong focus on the activities and initiatives that drive the Motorcycle Accessories business, you will also be a strong team player with the need to support any product area across the Aftersales, Parts and Accessories department.


A keen analytical mind along with an astute appreciation of our commercial environment, plus the ability to communicate effectively at all levels (both internally and externally), will be essential. You will also be working closely with the Area Managers and will be in constant communication with the dealer network and Honda Motor Europe.


Main Responsibilities:

  • Analyse the business through a range of metrics to ensure control and understanding of trends and to contribute to the preparation of budget and the review process.
  • Maintain strong written and verbal communications with the Dealer Network and Field Teams to promote Parts and Accessories proposition.
  • Coordinate production of Accessories marketing materials, both printed and digital, in conjunction with Marketing Department.
  • Market sensing by regular analysis of vehicle manufacturing competitors and parts suppliers to ensure product range and pricing are competitive.
  • Ownership of key Accessories systems and procedures
  • To supply, and maintain, timely and accurate forecasts to suppliers to support medium/long term HME UK business planning.
  • Design, implement and evaluate initiatives which increase sales.
  • Work with the Parts and Accessories management team to develop long term plans and tactical activities that support overall sales objectives.
  • Deliver merchandising products, in conjunction with the current supplier, to enhance the Honda Brand for business and retail customers.
  • Run monthly Motorcycle Accessories Meeting for HME UK Motorcycle Sales, imparting crucial information and evaluating future business opportunities.

Qualifications, skills and experience required:

  • Graduate or equivalent experience
  • Positive, self-motivated and confident personality with excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Strong computer skills with a high level of numeracy and an inquisitive, analytical nature. The ability to interpret analytical data in a clear and concise manner is essential.
  • Excellent attention to detail with proven organisational skills coupled with an understanding of customer requirements.
  • Motorcycle Product knowledge an advantage.
  • Comfortable balancing priorities and working to tight deadlines.
  • Sound judgement with proven ability to make commercial decisions.
  • Ability to see projects through from beginning to end, in a timely and cost effective manner for both short and long term goals is essential for the role.
  • Team player, able to contribute to the whole Aftersales, Parts & Accessories business.
