At Honda we embrace inclusion in our various policies, so whilst our contracts state that the hours are as required to fulfil the role with a minimum of 35 hours per week, we offer flexibility for when you work.  The regular office hours are 08:00 – 16:00 Monday to Thursday with a half hour lunch break & 08:00 – 13:00 on a Friday.  However, we offer flexibility of when you work with our daily flex-time start of between 07:00 and 11:00 providing that there is no business requirement.

Whilst there is no contractual right to work from home, the flexibility we offer is that you can request to work from home 2 days per week, again providing there is no business requirement to attend the office.

 

Role:
Reporting to the Head of Network Development and Branding, the Sales Process and Network Development Section Manager leads the implementation and continuous evolution of Honda Sales Operational Standards, network mapping, and the KPI–DOC structure. The role owns contract and supplier governance and directs the work of the Retail Environment Specialist and the Network & Commercial Specialist to ensure consistent execution and measurable improvement in customer experience and dealer performance.

Main Responsibilities:

Sales Process Implementation & Evolution

  • Oversee the creation, implementation and ongoing evolution of Honda sales processes at dealer level.
  • Ensure consistent delivery across all branches, setting adoption expectations and timelines.
  • Embed the KPI–DOC structure in branch and dealer routines to support visibility and continuous improvement.

Network Mapping & Coverage

  • Develop and maintain the network map to ensure appropriate coverage, capacity, and capability.
  • Highlight branch-level risks/opportunities and coordinate support where needed.

Contract & Supplier Governance

  • Lead contract management and supplier relationships, safeguarding best value and compliance.
  • Ensure supplier deliverables match current Honda standards and program requirements, with timelines aligned to digital, franchise, and showroom initiatives.

Team Leadership & Support

  • Manage and support the Retail Environment Specialist and the Network & Commercial Specialist, setting objectives and clear deliverables.
  • Bring together digital, franchise standards, and implementation owners to deliver branch‑ready solutions, with training, communications, and local support in place.

Performance Monitoring & KPIs

  • Monitor and report on business progress and key performance indicators.
  • Use KPI findings to recommend corrective actions and track their completion.

Market and Competitive Insights

  • Monitor competitors’ evolution in their formats and customer propositions and share implications for branch actions and prioritisation.

Standards & Customer Journey Alignment

  • Ensure all stakeholders are aligned to Honda’s standards and the customer journey, addressing gaps through coaching and action plans.

Planning & Objectives

  • Contribute to business planning and the achievement of objectives, confirming resources and sequencing for branch interventions.

Qualifications, skills and experience:
Required

  • Strategic change management and commercial awareness.
  • Results-oriented, able to balance priorities and meet tight deadlines.
  • Strong stakeholder management with the ability to influence, coach and train.
  • Excellent networking, relationship building, and supplier management skills.
  • High level of personal integrity and presence.

Desired

  • Other European languages desirable.
  • An interest in Motorcycles.
