At Honda we embrace inclusion in our various policies, so whilst our contracts state that the hours are as required to fulfil the role with a minimum of 35 hours per week, we offer flexibility for when you work. The regular office hours are 08:00 – 16:00 Monday to Thursday with a half hour lunch break & 08:00 – 13:00 on a Friday. However, we offer flexibility of when you work with our daily flex-time start of between 07:00 and 11:00 providing that there is no business requirement.
Whilst there is no contractual right to work from home, the flexibility we offer is that you can request to work from home for a maximum of 50% of the working days in any one month, again providing there is no business requirement to attend the office.
Role:
The role holder will support the strategic direction of 700+ investor sites across the UK for our Automotive, Motorcycles and Power Products division. Reporting to the Parts Business Development Section Manager, this position supports the UK Aftersales Parts Operations with improving investor’s profitability through Business Best Practice processes and Retention programmes.
Responding to market trends and challenging existing business procedures, with a strong focus on activities and initiatives to drive parts and accessories development.
Working closely with our Area field teams, you will be in constant communication with the dealer network, Honda Motor Europe (HME), Honda Motor Logistics Europe (HME-L) and Honda Access Europe (HAC-E).

Main Responsibilities:
- Analyse the business through a range of metrics to ensure control and understanding of market trends.
- Contribute to the preparation of budget and the associated review process.
- Coordinate production of parts/accessories marketing materials, both printed and digital, in conjunction with HME and HME-L.
- Market research by regular analysis of vehicle manufacturing competitors and parts suppliers to ensure product range and pricing are competitive.
- Ownership of key parts and accessories systems and reporting tools (NPSII, Palma, PEPER, WLTP, Euro Options)
- To supply and maintain timely and accurate forecasts to suppliers to support medium/long term HME-UK business planning.
- Coordinate APS system (Automatic Parts Supply), including liaising with all stakeholders to ensure appropriate system functionality, service level reporting, service basket and buy back processes.
- Review, develop and implement all operational policies that are necessary to ensure that Parts Business Development is compliant with the relevant legal and other governing standards.
- Proactively identify any process gaps across the department and create/document relevant countermeasures to support operational efficiencies.
- Maintain and develop strong relationships with key business stakeholders – internal and external.
- Responsible for the administration and rollout of merchandise range with third party supplier, ensuring adequate range is available across all product areas.
- Administrate, coordinate and support the wider Service and Parts Operation Department in the planning and launch of current and future major projects.

Required
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

- Strong Attention to detail, with strong organisational skills.
- High degree of self-motivation and drive.
- Strong team player with the confidence to build relationships at different levels.
Desirable
- Advanced Microsoft Excel skills with a high level of numeracy and an inquisitive, analytical nature.
- Data interpretation & visualisation (PowerBI, SQL, Python, R)
- Experience in the Automotive industry.
