Role:

As the New Business & Customer Service Coordinator, you will be responsible for delivering a top quality service to our car and bike dealers, as well as to our customers.

 

We are looking for a strong team player with a hands on approach who enjoys supporting and coaching individuals to achieve the department’s service level commitments.  You will have exceptional customer service skills and the ability to encourage those around you to provide an enthusiastic and high quality service.  

 

Main Responsibilities:

  • An integral member of the team ensuring the department meets its service levels on phone calls, banking of manual payments, checking of finance documentation and response times on e-mails and letters.
  • Build strong relationships with our dealers through clear communication making each contact with the team an enjoyable experience.
  • Work with your line manager in order to create an enjoyable environment in which the team can thrive and meet daily objectives.
  • Along with the New Business and Customer Service Section Manager, support and coach other team members through their development in the department with a knowledgeable and experienced approach.
  • Ensure that the team is always following procedures through regular checks and audits.
  • Professionally handle complaint escalations when required.
  • Provide back-up to the Customer and Underwriting Functions.

 

This role requires the flexibility to work a shift pattern of 8:00-16:00, 9:00-17:00, and 10:00-18:00. There is also a requirement to work one in 3-4 Saturdays with a day taken off in Lieu during the week.

Qualifications, Skills and Experience:

  • Previous experience working in a customer service environment.
  • Proven coaching and supporting skills
  • Organisational skills, with the ability to prioritise and meet deadlines
  • Able to multi-task and work with speed and efficiency.
  • Great communicator with a desire to build relationships with customers and colleagues.
