Based in the EUSQ office at HUM and reporting to the EUSQ Department Manager, your role will be to work as part of a team responsible for the provision of market quality information to assist with rapid mass production quality improvement.


Main Responsibilities:

  • Carry out detailed market data analysis in order to clarify the market situation including dealer visits for on the spot analysis. Data sources include warranty claims, QIC, TESS and CR.
  • Preparing data and reports to ensure clear understanding of the market situation.
  • Prepare market treatment information for field repair (Service Bulletins).
  • Support for special projects carried out within SQ.
  • Respond to technical requests from Branch, Distributor and Pan-E Dealer Technical Support.
  • Administration of QICs issued to EU-SQ.
  • Quality System administration / development.
  • Arranging for return of defective parts from within European market.

Qualifications, skills and experience required:

  • Highly computer literate and numerate, with experience of databases and data handling.
  • Have an understanding of quality system and process, TQM / PDCA.
  • Good understanding of vehicle systems and components.
  • Able to easily build relationships within Honda and outside.
  • Customer focussed.
  • Capable of gathering and presenting information that accurately represents the market situation.
  • The ideal candidate will have a good understanding of market quality improvement activities and Branch / Distributor, Factory, Service, R&D operations.
  • Willing to travel to dealers and Branches within Europe.
  • Team orientated attitude / approach.
