At Honda we embrace inclusion in our various policies, so whilst our contracts state that the hours are as required to fulfil the role with a minimum of 35 hours per week, we offer flexibility for when you work.  The regular office hours are 08:00 – 16:00 Monday to Thursday with a half hour lunch break & 08:00 – 13:00 on a Friday.  However, we offer flexibility of when you work with our daily flex-time start of between 07:00 and 11:00 providing that there is no business requirement.
 

Whilst there is no contractual right to work from home, the flexibility we offer is that you can request to work from home 2 days per week, again providing there is no business requirement to attend the office.

 

 

This role is offered on a 6 month contract.

Role:
The Retail Operations Change Management Specialist plays a key role in supporting the development, resilience, and long term sustainability of the Retail Operations Department.

The role provides dedicated, focused capacity to deliver essential department wide activity such as training and development, change management, innovation, document control and new reporting requirements, ensuring these critical areas receive the depth of attention and thought required to drive continuous improvement.

The role be responsible for actioning regulatory change, ensuring Retail Operations remains compliant, resilient and prepared for evolving regulatory and business expectations.

Working closely with Retail Operations leadership and operational teams, the role helps embed effective processes, maintain strong governance, and support sustainable operational evolution in line with business and regulatory expectations.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Deliver first line monitoring insight by identifying trends and driving improvements in quality, training and operational practice.
  • Support regulatory compliance across Retail Operations, translating FCA, Consumer Duty and consumer finance requirements into controlled, well-governed operational change.
  • Maintain effective document management and governance of policies, procedures and supporting documentation, ensuring clarity, accuracy, version control and regulatory alignment.
  • Support end-to-end delivery of operational, process and system change, including logging, tracking, testing and stakeholder coordination using structured change tools.
  • Identify and support continuous improvement and innovation initiatives to enhance efficiency, consistency and customer outcomes.
  • Develop and support meaningful management information, interpreting data to identify risk, trends and opportunities for improvement.
  • Support the design, maintenance and deployment of training aligned to regulatory change, Quality Assurance findings and operational risk, ensuring learning is embedded into practice.

Qualifications, skills and experience: 

Required

  • Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple workstreams and priorities.
  • Proven experience interpreting and actioning regulatory change within an operational environment.
  • High level of attention to detail, particularly in relation to documentation and governance.
  • Ability to communicate clearly with a wide range of stakeholders.
  • A proactive, improvement-focused mindset.
  • Experience supporting training, quality, change or process driven activity within an operational environment.
  • This role is subject to satisfactory references to include a DBS Check and Financial Check. 

Desirable

  • Experience working in a regulated financial services environment.
  • Familiarity with change management tools (e.g. JIRA or similar).
  • Exposure to quality assurance, monitoring or audit activity.
  • Experience contributing to reporting or MI development.
  • Awareness of the Financial Conduct Authority’s regulatory framework and Consumer Duty.
