At Honda we embrace inclusion in our various policies, so whilst our contracts state that the hours are as required to fulfil the role with a minimum of 35 hours per week, we offer flexibility for when you work.  The regular office hours are 08:00 – 16:00 Monday to Thursday with a half hour lunch break & 08:00 – 13:00 on a Friday.  However, we offer flexibility of when you work with our daily flex-time start of between 07:00 and 11:00 providing that there is no business requirement.

 

Whilst there is no contractual right to work from home, the flexibility we offer is that you can request to work from home for a maximum of 50% of the working days in any one month, again providing there is no business requirement to attend the office.

 

 

Role

Honda Motor Europe is offering a Product Campaign Marketing Specialist opportunity to join a dynamic Marketing Team in its Motorcycle Division.

This role is key to support strong delivery of marketing assets from Honda Motor Europe (HME) as central structure for European branches Marketing Communication activities to ensure the achievement of Honda Motorcycle Division Business Plan.  

Within the Marketing team, you will coordinate activities to produce compelling content for Product marketing campaigns and initiatives in line with the business objectives and support effective implementation for branches across 16 countries in Europe.

 

It will require collaboration across all Marketing Department as well as other departments (Product, Research & Development, Sales, PR, Logistics, Accessories, Dealer Development, Training, etc) to ensure smooth delivery of marketing assets.

The role includes liaising with agencies, suppliers, and internal stakeholders, helping to organise and pro-actively coordinate projects for effective delivery within objectives and budget. 

Attending and assisting on video & photo shootings and selected events in Europe is required as part of the role.  
 

Main Responsibilities

Product Marketing

  • Taking the strategic direction from brand and product, manage the creation of clear creative briefs for agencies to set the objectives for each model for effective delivery of marketing campaigns.
  • Produce high quality marketing assets relevant and effective for each campaign by coordinating and getting the best out of agencies. This includes videos, photos, brochures, press ads, social media assets, point of sale materials, mailings, etc.
  • Manage all activities for the Motorcycles section on Digital Assets Management tools including overall organisation of assets from central to local businesses making sure all campaigns are implemented across on and offline channels. 
  • Ensure compliance of all materials from HME to branches of Global and European Brand Guidelines.
  • Support on achievement of overall Motorcycle Division and Marketing department objectives and support on reporting performance KPI’s. 
  • Provide constant European branches support to implement and develop campaigns. Be the support contact for branches questions on marketing assets from HME.

 

Assets production

  • Manage pre-production activities for video and photo shootings including but not limited to briefings, creative approvals, logistics arrangements for motorcycles, parts, technical support, crew, clothing and riding gear, insurance, risk and compliance, attendance bookings, overall shoot plan and execution.
  • Attendance, if required, of location productions to support video, photo and social media shoots. 
  • Coordinate post-production activities for reviews and approvals in line with overall activities calendar. 
  • Manage image production of new models via shooting or CGI working with design departments and suppliers. Provide art direction inputs and changes required.
  • Ability to understand marketing trends from online channels and convert them into product campaigns creative insights for best target audience engagement.
  • Manage brochures development with agencies from start to finish including gathering information about all models, photography, reviews, and updates.
  • Produce copy with agencies, copywriters and proofread marketing materials.
     

Budget

  • Support on definition and follow up budget for all product activities.
  • Responsible for raising PO’s and monthly report
  • Follow-up productions budget for each product and supplier.

 

Administrative/Operational

  • Create engaging presentations to support strategy, creative, implementation of overall marketing department objectives.
  • Use internal systems to update and check information when needed.
  • Manage motorcycle gear and clothing support for video/photo shootings, contact suppliers and organise logistics.
  • Write up meeting minutes when requested.

 

Qualifications, Skills and Experience

Required

  • Proven experience in project managing creative marketing productions such as video and photography productions, organising all activities and getting the best out of agencies.
  • Comprehensive knowledge of creative development process for photography, video, copy writing, social media trends and marketing campaigns.
  • Self-sufficient and independent project management abilities, deadline driven and ability to work under pressure.
  • Strong operational capability. Diligent. Attention to detail in all perspectives ensuring high quality of work output.
  • Strong ability to prepare presentations, present and get consensus with different stakeholders. 
  • Result driven with understanding of marketing - planning, strategic thinking, product positioning, results. Commercial awareness and understanding.
  • Ability to travel on occasions to visit branches, manage photo/video shoots and events.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication.
  • Competent IT skills in MS Office (Outlook, Teams, Excel, Word, Power Point).

 

Desirable

  • Previous experience in marketing (Agency or Brand side) is highly desired on marketing assets development.
  • Desirable knowledge of image retouching and video editing software (Adobe CC)
  • Experience or genuine interest in motorcycles favourable.
