At Honda we embrace inclusion in our various policies, so whilst our contracts state that the hours are as required to fulfil the role with a minimum of 35 hours per week, we offer flexibility for when you work. The regular office hours are 08:00 – 16:00 Monday to Thursday with a half hour lunch break & 08:00 – 13:00 on a Friday. However, we offer flexibility of when you work with our daily flex-time start of between 07:00 and 11:00 providing that there is no business requirement.
Whilst there is no contractual right to work from home, the flexibility we offer is that you can request to work from home for a maximum of 50% of the working days in any one month, again providing there is no business requirement to attend the office.
Role:
This Communications role will drive brand and profit delivery for Honda UK Power Products businesses. [Lawn and Garden, Marine, ATV and Industrial] You will support the Marketing Section Manager by owning and delivering the Honda UK Paid Media, Website updates, Social media, Dealer Marketing, CRM, and Creative Communications to drive awareness, consideration and conversion for the Honda Power Products brand in order to achieve commercial sales objectives.
Main Responsibilities:
- Work alongside the Marketing Section Manager to execute the annual strategic plans, which delivers against the Honda mid-term direction and commercial requirements of the Power Products business.
- Lead in the delivery of Honda UK Power Products Paid Media, Website updates, Social Media, Dealer Marketing strategy, CRM and creative communications. This will include the promotion of product launches, tactical campaigns, and brand and product awareness initiatives.
- One of your key accountabilities is for performing website updates and enhancements in addition to designing and producing required web pages for honda.co.uk.
- Organise and manage the delivery of creative and digital content for the national paid and owned plans. This will include the marketing and promotional materials for broadcast, digital and CRM channels in addition to the adaptation of an European asset toolkit.
- Lead the deployment of sophisticated customer journeys for customers across media, websites, social media, dealer marketing and CRM.
- Lead and manage the SEO relationship and projects alongside the SEO media agency.
- Work with the designated media agency with PPC optimisations and projects.
- Creation of briefs for multiple agencies across different channels and work-streams, ensuring they align to business objectives, and Campaign briefs and budgets.
- Managing updates across customer facing materials, such as price lists, brochures, and POS. Briefing and managing the creation of POS, from brief to print and delivery.
- Once campaigns are briefed, you will lead in the development and delivery of the national paid media plans. You will ensure plans punch above their weight and deliver ROI against our commercial objectives.
- Localise national marketing initiatives to create ‘best in industry’ dealer marketing toolkits. To support this, you will supply a library of images, content, brochures and ROI based assets. You will manage the bespoke Dealer Asset platform, across all 4 divisions of Power Products.
- Be a brand guardian, responsible for ensuring all National and Dealer communications adhere to Honda UK brand framework and showcase Honda’s unique brand personality. Ensure all content is consistent in terms of style, quality, and tone of voice, and optimized for search and user experience.
- Keep abreast of customer expectations and emerging innovations and trends. Bring innovations, fresh thinking and new ideas to Power Products Marketing to ensure Honda is ‘industry leading’ in its output.
- Work alongside a significant agency structure and multiple stakeholders to deliver against your objectives. Actively foster collaboration, innovation and forward thinking from your partners and stakeholders to ensure maximum delivery and success.
- Support the governance and reporting of Honda UK Power Products marketing activity and budget. Responsible for contributing to the continual review and optimisation of channel performance against KPIs using the internal review process to maximise ROI.
Qualifications, skills and experience required/desirable:
- Experience of working across a wide portfolio of channels is essential.
- Significant experience in the management of CMS (content management system) platforms – able to update and edit daily. Knowledge of Adobe Experience Manager platform would be advantageous.
- Proven experience in the curation and delivery of paid media plans.
- Social media literate with a demonstratable record of working across social media platforms.
- A creative eye with the ability to produce brand aligned stand out executions.
- Exceptionally driven and motivated with a strong desire to exceed objectives. Metric centric – ability to set clear KPIs, track, measure and report.
- Sharp project management skills with the ability to juggle multiple stakeholders and deliverables without sacrificing quality.
- Excellent people skills with experience of being the main touch point for multiple high-level stakeholders and external relationships (including multiple agency partners).
- An individual who exudes natural enthusiasm for brand and the value it can bring to the consumer.
- Action orientated with a proven record of accomplishment of directly driving action through external partner agencies and internal stakeholders.
- Financially and commercially astute with previous experience of budget management.
- Extremely well organised, able to strategically plan and manage multiple diverse tasks at once in an especially busy role.
- Team focused mentality.
