At Honda we embrace inclusion in our various policies, so whilst our contracts state that the hours are as required to fulfil the role with a minimum of 35 hours per week, we offer flexibility for when you work. The regular office hours are 08:00 – 16:00 Monday to Thursday with a half hour lunch break & 08:00 – 13:00 on a Friday. However, we offer flexibility of when you work with our daily flex-time start of between 07:00 and 11:00 providing that there is no business requirement.
Whilst there is no contractual right to work from home, the flexibility we offer is that you can request to work from home for a maximum of 50% of the working days in any one month, again providing there is no business requirement to attend the office.
Role:
Reporting to Supply and Customer Service Section Manager, this role has full accountability to optimise the efficiency of the front and back end logistical operations of the Company Vehicle Operations (CVO) business. The CVO Logistics Co-ordinator is responsible for registering, delivering and de-fleeting vehicles used by the Honda Group of Companies in the UK (HRE, HMEL, HME and HME-UK). The role will contribute to continuously improve processes to further develop the department efficiency.
Main Responsibilities:
- Continually challenge and propose CVO processes in order to minimise vehicle downtime and therefore costs.
- Key relationship holder with Logistical partners. Control, measure and report on the quality of service from CVO’s logistical partners.
- Manage all vehicle handovers across all locations ensuring just-in-time philosophy is planned and accurately delivered on time.
- Support with the production of sales forecast on a weekly basis working in conjunction with the Customer Service Manager and CVO Supply and Customer Service Section Manager.
- Responsible for monitoring monthly registration targets.
- Support with the day-to-day operations at Magnum House as the in-house handover centre including the external partners CVO use ensuring most efficient use of resource to optimise cost savings.
- Manage the partner relationship with the Rugby Football Union ensuring monthly operational meetings are conducted including all reporting.
- Manage the pre-production vehicle lifecycle application via DVLA.
- Support the Customer Service Manager daily with customer queries and CVO administration inbox as required.
