At Honda we embrace inclusion in our various policies, so whilst our contracts state that the hours are as required to fulfil the role with a minimum of 35 hours per week, we offer flexibility for when you work. The regular office hours are 08:00 – 16:00 Monday to Thursday with a half hour lunch break & 08:00 – 13:00 on a Friday. However, we offer flexibility of when you work with our daily flex-time start of between 07:00 and 11:00 providing that there is no business requirement.
Whilst there is no contractual right to work from home, the flexibility we offer is that you can request to work from home 2 days per week, again providing there is no business requirement to attend the office.
This role is offered on a contract basis for a duration of 12 months.
Role:
As part of our European Business Development Department, we have an exciting opportunity available to support our KPI reporting and improvement activities, for both Honda’s European Automotive and Motorcycle aftersales business, as Honda Motor Europe’s KPI/DOC Improvement Analyst.
In this role, you will have the opportunity to make a meaningful impact to our customers’ ownership experience, as well as contributing to the success of a globally recognised brand.
The role is challenging yet rewarding. To succeed, you will need strong communication and analytical skills to report and accurately analyse large and varied data sets, covering numerous KPI’s across Honda’s European business. You will be an innovator, capable of generating new ideas and identifying opportunities, and then carrying them through successfully against an agreed set of objectives.
The role also requires ongoing project and programme support for multiple Pan-European activities, providing an opportunity to gain exposure and experience from across the business.
This role will require occasional travel to our European branches.
Main Responsibilities:
- Coordinate Honda’s main KPI Management tool, working closely with suppliers, internal stakeholders and dealers to ensure the most effective and useful information is provided in an engaging format.
- Provide effective project support for multiple large, regional projects.
- Creation of new reporting dashboards and reports, supporting the generation of data-driven insights.
- Identify and implement new opportunities for improvements in network processes.
- Report preparation and analysis, collating data from multiple sources, using Excel and other tools to manipulate data into a usable format.
- Communication with colleagues across Europe within Honda’s Branches (Country offices), to achieve challenging deadlines and budgets.
- Drive project activity within the department to ensure smooth implementation of new initiatives/systems.
Qualifications, skills and experience:
Required
- Proven ability to accurately analyse and manipulate large amounts of data to create clear and concise reports.
- Capable of managing and prioritising conflicting requirements to achieve deadlines.
- Ability to work to a high degree of accuracy without compromising productivity.
- A good understanding of Car and/or Motorcycle aftermarket operations, and the opportunities and challenges ahead.
- Ability to analyse data with a high attention to detail, to identify opportunities and measure performance.
- Strong presentation and communication skills, and the ability to influence others.
- A “Customer First” thinker.
- Proficient using Microsoft Office tools, including Outlook, PowerPoint and Excel, Teams and OneDrive.
- Knowledge of more advanced reporting tools and technology, for example: Power BI.
- Ability to travel widely throughout European region.
- Fluent in English.
Desirable
- An understanding of the European market and Honda’s retailer network.
- An understanding of the aftersales business in a European Automotive and/or Motorcycle retailer.
- Capable of speaking one or more European languages (in addition to English).
