The Role

 

The European Digital Marketing Manager will play a pivotal role in managing and enhancing Honda’s suite of websites and assets for the Power Products division in Europe. The individual will be involved in all digital projects (product website, e-commerce, social media, app...) and will have to improve the overall usage and performance (usability, design, content, conversion…).

 

Main responsibilities:

  •  Day to day interface between branches and agencies.
  • Manage all requests from branches linked to the websites and ensure follow up.
  • Ensure Honda’s suite of websites are always up-to-date through active involvement with the rest of the European Marketing team, Product Planning, PR and local markets.
  • Utilise analytical ability to evaluate end-to-end user experience and improve the user journey.
  • Be a key contributor in the development and deployment of our European digital strategy including social media and e-commerce.
  • Optimise the websites for technical and on-page Search Engine Optimization (SEO).
  • Analyse key metrics and generate monthly KPI report for branches and top management.
  • Develop digital marketing kits to promote Power Products across Europe.
  • Review new technologies and keep the company at the forefront of developments in digital marketing.

Digital Marketing – Managing digital architecture and campaigns requiring combined strategic and technical skills

Analysis – Identifying way of enhancement to improve customer journey on the digital platform.

Brand Experience – Building a clear, compelling and competitively differentiated brand positioning and experience that can be translated in everything we do

Marketing Communications – Planning and implementing an integrated programme across a number of media channels to communicate the brand’s messages to targeted customers in the most efficient way

Supplier Management – Managing effective relationships with supply partners which deliver value and quality

Internal Communication – Sharing with all the stakeholders clear information about projects (objective, timing, delivery…)

Skills:

  • Significant experience of digital marketing experience is essential.
  • Experience in website management and execution of digital campaigns.
  • Experience in using content management systems is essential.
  • Strong project management expertise, including experience of Agile methodology and the ability to manage projects with multiple internal and external stakeholders.
  • Strong communication skills with the ability to build and maintain good relationships across all cultures and disciplines.
  • A strong ability to construct logical arguments and present them with conviction.
  • Experience in digital asset creation and localisation.
  • Ability to copy write, keeping SEO in mind.
  • Capable of presenting to a range of audiences (internal meetings, agencies and external conferences) with presence and style.
  • Keen to learn and align with the Honda Philosophy
