At Honda we embrace inclusion in our various policies, so whilst our contracts state that the hours are as required to fulfil the role with a minimum of 35 hours per week, we offer flexibility for when you work.  The regular office hours are 08:00 – 16:00 Monday to Thursday with a half hour lunch break & 08:00 – 13:00 on a Friday.  However, we offer flexibility of when you work with our daily flex-time start of between 07:00 and 11:00 providing that there is no business requirement.

Whilst there is no contractual right to work from home, the flexibility we offer is that you can request to work from home for a maximum of 50% of the working days in any one month, again providing there is no business requirement to attend the office.

 

 

Role:

This marketing role will support the Honda Motor Europe motorcycle marketing team with the pan-European digital platforms, including website, configurator and app. The role will support new model launches, managing the technical data on the Data Management System (DMS), ensuring a smooth roll out to local markets and activation of the product pages on the pan-European website. Throughout the year you will drive the development of new features across the digital platforms to continuously improve the user experience and maximise volume of quality traffic with conversion rates and ROI. This could involve larger projects with multiple system integrations or smaller developments to the usability of the front and back-end platforms.

 

You will be responsible for the maintenance of the website performance and liaising with the agencies to ensure data is being processed correctly at both a central European level and for local markets. This will involve supporting the Search Engine Optimisation (SEO) strategy to ensure high-ranking across all markets. In addition, you will be a key contact for the markets to support with queries and requests. 

 

A major part of the role will be back-end integration and data management on systems such as Adobe Experience Manager (AEM), whilst also providing analytics and reports to stakeholders within the business to show performance of the digital platforms.


Main Responsibilities:

  • Support new model launches across all European markets on the website, configurator and mobile app.
  • Contribute to the management of an indirect agency structure for digital transformation projects to meet business objectives. This includes writing clear briefs, managing timelines and controlling costs.
  • Manage positive collaborative relationships with the cross-divisional development team, pushing for innovation and forward thinking to deliver success. Ensuring the needs of the motorcycle division are shared and represented in centralised production. 
  • Consider current and future customer journey needs across the digital landscape to develop features that contribute towards model sales strategies, bringing innovation and fresh thinking.
  • Contribute towards the yearly digital business objectives and lead activity to effectively meet targets.
  • Responsible for the maintenance of data across the digital platforms and DMS, which include technical specifications for the website and accessory data for the configurator.
  • Always consider the extension of the platforms to the markets throughout Europe and be a key contact to support branches with technical updates and managing local content.
  • Management of cross-platform analytics dashboard and deliver continuous improvement to enhance the new tool. Support branches with local dashboards and lead on-boarding of new markets.
  • Support the governance and reporting of European websites to key stakeholders within the business.
  • Test new features across the website and configurator for quality assurance before release to production. 
  • Process statements of work and raise purchase orders.
  • Occasional presentations to stakeholders and local markets required.


Qualifications, skills, and experience:
Required

  • Digital marketing experience working for a company or agency, specialising in website management.
  • Experience in the management of Content Management System (CMS) platforms – being able to update and edit on a daily basis.
  • Experience in the management of DMS platforms and understanding systems integration.
  • Ability to troubleshoot and resolve a variety of website performance issues.
  • Mindset to make efficiencies with processes and systems to improve the workflow of the digital team.
  • Well organised and able to manage multiple projects at once.
  • Proven track record in project management, from conception to delivery.
  • Experience in working with multiple stakeholders.
  • A strong understanding of current online marketing concepts, strategy & best practice.
  • High-level of knowledge with Google Analytics & SEO, keeping up-to-date with the latest updates and releases.
  • Works proactively and self-sufficiently to recommend improvements from platform analytics.
  • Team Focused, working collectively with other areas of the marketing/comms team is critical.
  • Excellent communication skills to effectively propose new features to stakeholders.
  • Experience working with an agency structure for project management and technical support.
  • Occasional business travel to agencies or branches throughout Europe is required.


Desirable

  • Knowledge of AEM would be advantageous.
  • Experience working with motorcycle or automotive brand.
  • Passion for motorcycles.
  • Experience working at a European level or managing multiple websites.
